Underworld Queen is a title shared by multiple characters in the Momodora series. In all cases, they're the final bosses of their respective games.

Momodora I[]

Lamia

Underworld Queen Lamia is the final challenge Isadora encounters in Terra Alter.

Once defeated, she allows Isadora to meet her mother but also mocks and warns the priestess, as she may regret her decisions. Rightly so, as the consequences of Isadora's defiance are seen in the next game.

Momodora II[]

Underworld Queen Isadora Sitting

In this game, Isadora herself is cursed by the gods for her defiance in the previous games, and becomes the new Underworld Queen, bent on destroying the world.

She's eventually saved from her fate by Momo Reinol, a fellow priestess of Koho. Despite being purified, Isadora's skin becomes marked as a sign of having bore her curse.

Momodora III[]

While not directly bearing the title, Goddess of Death Rell otherwise shares the same characteristics of an Underworld Queen.

She's responsible for the strange apparitions plaguing the neighboring lands of Koho. She's eventually confronted and defeated by Isadora or Momo. However, as the Goddess of Death her demise could have catastrophic consequences for all life in the world, so instead she's purified.

Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight[]

The Accurst Queen of Karst serves as this game's Underworld Queen and final boss.

She's responsible for the spread of darkness and corruption that's overtaken her country and threatens the rest of the world. Her actions have also caused the despair and misery of her subjects, and forced the dead to roam the land once again.

Kaho Reinol arrives at Karst with the intent of stopping her and the spread of evil. By the end, she succeeds in purifying the cursed queen at the cost of her own life.

It's implied the queen may have been forced into evil by demonic possession, similar to Isadora's stint as the Underworld Queen.
