Melko is a character from Momodora II. She is one of the few NPCs in the game.
According to the Momodora III manual Melko is Melilot's older sister.
She came to the KoHo Shrine to look for princess Eri Karst.
She mentions: If you find [Eri], could you please tell her to go to where we first met? That is most likely talking to bring Eri to Mint End because she mentioned bringing the princess there if you ever find her. But it could also be a hint on where and how to obtain the Green Magic Leaf. It hides where "we" (as in Momo and Eri, not Momo and Melko) first met. And you go there after you find out who she is, and the only thing you can do in that room after, but not before, that is to use the Twinkle Pendant.
She can be first seen next to the save point in Mint End, after the player beats Eri for the first time she moves to Rahart Hall and once you beat her the second time her dialogue changes to mention your fights with the princess.

After running away from so many one-eyed freaks, I meet a decent human. ...I'll definitely keep your name in my memory. As for my name, it's Melko. I come from a very far away land, in search of the missing princess from my country. Our princess' name is Eri. She supposedly fled the kingdom after seeing the dreadul state of our citizens outside the royal family... I heard people saying she came here looking for the sacred powers within, but where is she? If you ever find her, can you bring her here?
