Love letters are optional passive items collectable throughout the areas of Momodora II.
Even though they are optional you should collect most of them. They increase the amount of health by one heart.
Using them it is possible to get up to ten hearts from the two the player has in the beginning. Meaning there are eight of them.
The difficulty of finding them varies, some are on the main path while some hidden behind walls that the player has to walk through.
One of them is in KoHo Plains, two in Mint End, one in Milori Sanctum, another one in Choele Choel, another in Rahart Hall and the last two in Ivory Netherworld.
